Dealer Relations And Indirect Underwriting Specialist

This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with retail dealers in order to help Linn Area Credit Union meet volume, yield and credit quality goals. In addition, this individual will monitor dealer behavior to ensure we are maximizing the profitability and integrity of the indirect lending program.

The person in this role will be responsible for underwriting the consumer loan applications that are submitted through both the Indirect and Direct lending channels in a timely manner according to established goals. An emphasis on quality loan decisions consistent with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements will be required. Providing a superior member/dealer experience by providing timely and consistent decision making is the core of this role.

Desired Skill And Talents

• Strong interpersonal communications; and be able to network and motivate others
• A two-year degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing or training
• One to three years of similar or related experience
• Self-motivated and driven while working independently
• Ability to analyze complex data and weigh outcomes with accuracy and through the lens of best practices
