Responsibilities:
- Engage in project management activities.
- Collaborate with architects, planners, and environmental engineers.
- Develop engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Optimize transportation systems for safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Design roads, highways, intersections, and parking facilities with sustainability in mind.
- Conduct transportation studies, impact assessments, and corridor analyses.
- Utilize industry-standard software for traffic modeling and analysis.
- Stay updated on transportation engineering trends and regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in transportation engineering and project management.
- Solid understanding of traffic engineering principles and roadway design standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, VISSIM, Synchro, and/or TransCAD.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with environmental impact assessment and sustainable transportation practices is a plus
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, EIT certification required.
