The National Transportation Coordinator has the responsibility to assist the National Transportation Manager in supporting McKesson to achieve its operational objective of Servicing the Distribution network with Truckload and Less than Truckload transportation services. Working in conjunction with national and regional operations management, the person will support the new methods and procedures to monitor and minimize inbound and outbound freight costs. The National Transportation Coordinator is also the super user and reference person for the Transportation Management System.

Specific Responsibilities

• Work on special projects and activities to support the business.
• Input manual invoices
• Manage Day to Day work within the TMS and P44 Movement systems.
• Take action of behaviors of carrier to ensure they’re following EDI flow process.
• Inbound Billing
• Maintain appropriate communications with all levels of the organization.
• Fed-ex Process Fed Ex Reconciliation with Accounting
• Close out tenders as needed once 210s are sent.
• Seek continuous improvement for application of all processes pertaining to the transportation program.
• Maintain and update transportation plan in TMS on a regular basis.
• Assist in the development of general transportation policies, procedures and working methods.
• Assist in implementing transportation projects on cross-functional teams and in delivering and presenting results according to the timelines that have been established.
• Responsible for BOLs to DC network and Inbound Customers
• Data Integrity TMS/P44 – Manage notifications to DC Network
• Close out Galderma tender(s) in Nexus (Inbound Customer)

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office; Word, Excel and Access
• Operational and results focus.
• Pharmaceutical logistics experience an asset
• Proven capability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of transportation, transportation management systems and their applications
• Have good negotiation and communication skills.
• University degree in a pertinent discipline to distribution or relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in transportation and logistics

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$56,700 - $94,500
