Responsibilities
The TFM works 4 days/week in the field, with prospective and current fleet customers, executing the fleet specific annual business plans, created by the TFM for the assigned fleet(s). The TFM is responsible for consistently calling on small and mid-sized fleets (vehicle count) with locations in a specific geographical part of the country, with the intent of growing fleet buy-in of Bridgestone brands and mobility solutions annually and documenting that activity in the CRM. The TFM is heavily focused on calling on prospective regional fleets to generate sales for the dealers’ in a specific geographical area and communicates regularly with dealers affected. Lastly, the TFM must consistently provide ideas and feedback on Bridgestone’s current products and solutions .
- Builds strong business relationships and partnerships with all assigned fleets, including existing fleets and potential accounts
- Prepare weekly, monthly and annual sales plan to optimize customer interactions for both current and perspective customers via Customer Relationship Management system (CRM); Salesforce.com.
- Develops, maintains and implements sales plans at both prospective and assigned local/regional/national fleet accounts for new and retread products along with mobility solutions
- Works directly with servicing dealer network to assure dealer understanding of program requirements and compliance
- Develops and implements relevant fleet sales activities and promotions at assigned fleet accounts in order to achieve planned sales growth and account penetration
- Recommends fleet program changes for assigned national fleet accounts in order to attain the highest financial recovery while securing the highest sales volume
- Collects and reports back competitive TBR/retread market information
- Works with local dealer representatives and Bridgestone teammates to assure program compliance at the fleet location and servicing dealer level by providing corporate insights and direction to assure maximum TBR/retread penetration
- Resolves issues and seeks opportunities at assigned fleet accounts and prospects
- Makes formal business presentations to maximize TBR/retread penetration at assigned fleet accounts and prospects
- Responsible for promoting new TBR and retread products to existing and prospective fleets
- Attends and plays active role in customer/industry associations
Minimum Qualifications
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
