You Are:

Terraform engineer to join a rapidly growing high-performance team, and to deliver complex projects. Candidates will be responsible for the production process, including continuous delivery of features, infrastructure automation, configuration management, high availability, and related tooling. The individual may also be expected to contribute to software development and testing.

The Opportunity:

• Rapidly automate any and all manual procedures.
• Assess design and implementation for security vulnerabilities and suggest prevention and remediation approaches and implement them.
• This position is responsible for the coding, configuration, testing, system performance optimization, and interoperability issues.
• Build and maintain monitoring, auditing, and reporting frameworks and processes to implement and support security and compliance requirements.
• Continuously evolve cloud infrastructure, making it more resilient, scalable, and secure.
• The ideal candidate will combine technical and business skills, and a passion for working with clients to deliver excellence.
• Drives engagement with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure deployment of applications.
• As a DevOps Consultant, you will work closely with our clients and technical teams to solve technical challenges for our clients.

What you need:

• Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems, Strong programming skills
• Extensive and proven experience with running production software in AWS at scale.
• Industry certifications in Terraform will be a big plus / HashiCorp certification
• Hands-on experience in the following AWS resources to create IAC codebase using Terraform.
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps
• Understanding SQL and implementation in application code

Bonus points if:

• Industry certifications in Terraform will be a big plus.
• Have experience building and deploying as containers on a cloud platform using an automated CI / CD pipeline.
• Ability to manage builds, releases, and deployment in a SaaS environment with a strict SLA
• Any SAFe certification (SSM, SASM, SA, SPC, SPMPO) is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or additional comparable experience
• Proven experience in IT, application development or DevOps, including excellent knowledge of networking, computing, and storage.
• Experience in configuring & monitoring different attributes and handling scale-up and scale-down scenarios for the application in Cloud

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

Role Location: US Remote

Compensation Range: $91,000 - $107,000
