About the Role
As a DevOps Cloud Engineer, you will perform moderate research, design, and software development assignments. Working within a specific software functional area or product line, you'll be able to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
  • Tackle technical issues head-on, using your skills to debug and solve problems.
  • Keeping abreast of new technology developments
  • You will code using best practices and produce solutions for software pipelines.
  • You will help create pipelines for teams to deploy internal and external applications.
  • Help develop and test infrastructure-as-code (IaC) modules.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to identify and prioritize technical needs.
Requirements
  • Have exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Cloud Formation and/or Terraform
  • Have experience with observability (dashboarding, monitoring, and alerts utilizing DataDog and/or Splunk)
  • Have some DevOps experience
  • Some knowledge of containerization technologies including writing, running, managing, and orchestrating them utilizing Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Have a basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Can implement CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins
  • Have some knowledge of test-driven development
  • Have an ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Writes clean and testable code (Python, Golang, Bash/Shell/Powershell, or other)
  • Have utilized cloud environments such as AWS and/or Azure
