Navair Cloud/Devops Engineer- Ability To Obtain Secret Clearance

As a Cloud/DevOps Engineer you will:

A week in the life of a Cloud/DevOps Engineer includes:

• Support security hardening of the environment and systems using DoD Cyber policy guidance.
• Design, implement and manage highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery and deployment of applications and services.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and other customers to ensure successful integration and delivery of applications and services.
• Plan and manage work with the larger engineering team using Agile methodology.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring using GitOps.
• Maintain documentation to include knowledge base, incident response actions, system configurations, and other information related to system administration.
• Support the planning and execution of the migration of services from on-premises infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot health and performance of AWS infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Provide engineering support to an AWS GovCloud environment with a large user base in a cross functional team utilizing DevSecOps.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $90,000-130,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. • Experience working in an Agile environment
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.
• At least five (5) years of Cloud/DevOps engineering experience
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, such as Jira, Confluence, or Bitbucket
• Familiarization with DoD RMF process and policies
• Experience with GitOps tooling, such as Python, Ansible, or Terraform
• Experience with AWS Cloud
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering from a college program with ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc.) certification.
