Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Technical Sales professional to join our team, who will reside in or within commuting distance to the greater Milwaukee metro area and who has the ability to travel. This position will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, building customer relationships, and promoting our lubrication products to clients in identified business sectors throughout the United States and Canada.


The ideal candidate will have at least basic knowledge of mechanical concepts and a solid understanding of the full sales process. They should be well organized and comfortable using software as part of the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to management on progress towards targets and potential areas of improvement.
  • Conduct customer visits, meetings, and presentations to promote our products, address customer concerns, and negotiate contracts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • Utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to manage customer interactions, document sales activities, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve target sales objectives and expand market share within our target markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.


Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • At least 3 years experience in industrial sales
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred, but will consider any 4-year degree with the right industrial plant experience
  • Experience using CRM programs
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft products, including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability and willingness to travel
