Job Summary

CRH Americas is the largest building material company in North America and a wholly-owned subsidiary of CRH. We have a team of over 20+ Corporate Recruiters that are based in Rochester, NY that lead the recruiting effort for the company. We are searching for a Technical Recruiter who will provide quality customer service in a client-driven team environment through the effective recruitment of new hires. In this role you will creatively source, identify and screen candidates to present to management for open exempt/professional job requisitions. Your focus will be supporting our IT roles we have open throughout the country.

Job Responsibilities

• Extensive use of LinkedIN and other tools to engage both active and passive candidates
• Special HR/Recruitment team projects and other duties assigned
• Display a high sense of urgency to get positions filled
• Some travel out to the business for meetings as required
• Use SuccessFactors ATS to organize candidate resumes
• Identify, screen and engage potential candidates that will fit and flourish in the culture
• Build a pipeline of qualified passive candidates for reoccurring needs
• Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employee referrals to find potential talent
• Create and communicate a recruiting and sourcing plan for each open position
• Work proactively with assigned hiring managers to understand their immediate and upcoming hiring needs
• Provide consistent follow-up with managers on recruiting progress

Job Requirements

• Ability to fill orders with a sense of urgency and manage multiple concurrent searches
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, IT, Communications, or related field
• Ability to communicate with hiring managers, third-party providers and candidates at all levels (written/verbal)
• Experience in IT recruiting preferred, but not required
• Experience with MS Office, job boards and software based Applicant Tracking System
• Experience creating job descriptions, delivering and negotiating job offers and acting as a liaison between new hires and hiring managers
• Travel as needed out to meetings and plant/business locations to build relationships and present to internal stakeholders
• 2+ years of experience in conducting nationwide searches and recruiting professionals in multiple disciplines
