Position Overview:



RIVA Solutions, Inc. is looking to add a technical recruiter to our Talent Acquisition Team. This recruiter will play an integral part in successfully staffing current funded openings as well as assisting with staffing for proposal efforts as needed. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Technical Recruiter will have an opportunity to not only recruit but be a business partner with a defined set of internal customers and demonstrate the importance of and build a trusting relationship that supports the organization in the achievement of business strategies and goals.



Responsibilities:

  • Own the recruiting process from creation of the requisition to the offering and closing of candidates
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future consideration
  • Establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility, integrity, and skilled communications with managers, peers, and candidates
  • Determine job offer details; negotiate, prepare, and extend new hire offers
  • Participate in interviews and integrate information gained about candidates with hiring manager to make the best hiring decision
  • Comply with government, RIVA, and Human Resources laws, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Partner with hiring managers to create and review job requisitions, defining and validating key position requirements (e.g., education, experience, technical competencies, travel and/or relocation requirements)
  • May lead the planning and execution of hiring events, both locally and nationally
  • Must be adept with passive sourcing and talent engagement methods
  • Accurately document and track candidates in the applicant tracking system
  • Actively participates and contributes to process improvement strategies and projects within the Recruiting Team as well as the Human Resources Team
  • Use metrics to communicate progress with hiring managers and leadership
  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to drive for results and meeting and exceeding expectations. This includes helping hiring managers make better interviewing and hiring decisions in a timely manner.
  • At least 3-5 years of technical recruiting experience
  • Familiarity with using metrics to track progress and report results.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and support fellow recruiters in closing difficult requisitions or projects. Shares candidate with other recruiters.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. The best candidates will have demonstrated success building pools of candidates for future opportunities and staying in contact to keep RIVA top of mind.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a government contracting environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Proficiency with TEAMS and Slack are a bonus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the recruiting life cycle, employment law, and the importance of capturing accurate information to ensure compliance.
  • Demonstrated success identifying candidates through various channels. Must know how to find passive candidates and not rely on posting the positions and waiting for candidates to apply.
  • A related business degree or equivalent work experience.
