As a member of a cross functional team, you lead RDQ activities required to complete process design and process deployment for innovation, growth and cost optimization projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.


How You Will Contribute


Working independently, you will lead technical work across multiple projects aligned with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will also lead activities designed to generate appropriate process information using modelling and simulation, and pilot plant scale up and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. You will be involved with/lead process design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning and will ensure the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. This position requires you to manage stakeholders and to influence decisions based on data analysis and interpretation of results; create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specifications; leverage connections to internal and external technical communities, and; create intellectual property that gives Mondelēz International a competitive advantage.

TIM Sr Engr will deliver competitive advantage to the business by providing Technical Leadership (product formulation, packaging, specifications) and leading/supporting technical capability building/knowledge transfer for the manufacturing site (through training, coaching and R&D inputs).


TIM function within Mondelez Supply Chain as part of a Single Technical Community to lead product, process, and technology support.


The TIM will be strongly linked to global and regional R&DQ agenda and deliver measurable results to each BU.


Areas of Work:


  • Drive sustainability of specific Quality programs (Consumer Inspired Quality CIQ and Manufacturing Standards) to the plant staff to efficiently run the operation through IL6S program phases.
  • Owns initiative technical readiness working closely with R&D, engineering and VSU Leads.
  • Contribute to team risk assessments and contingency planning for Business Continuity Plans (BCP) events.
  • Technical knowledge transfer / training to the core and process engineers though BTU training and health check in order to deliver to the plant manufacturing goals (product/process development, productivity and quality ).
  • Ensures that product/process specifications are met thru the initial implementation phase.


Requirements:


  • Strong technical background (R&D, Manufacturing, Packaging)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Prefer major in Chemical Engineering or Food Process Engineering.
  • Product/process technology development in Food Industry or successful project implementation in Mondelez Bakeries
  • Clearly understands the Commercial Business he or she will support.
  • Understands Integrated Lean Six Sigma and the keys pillars (especially AM, PM, E&T, QM and FI)
  • Has had leadership experience in a big scale project.
  • 4 - 6 years of R&D and Operations Experience.
  • Working knowledge in IIM and RCA (root cause analysis).
