Sr Performance Engineer Jobs

Position Type: 3 months C2H

Location: Onsite from day 1 in Deerfield, IL

• Monitoring and Analysis: Candidates should be proficient in using Azure monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Azure Monitoring and Application Insights. They should understand how to collect and analyze performance metrics to identify issues and make data-driven recommendations.
• Experience working with Business analysts and Solution Architects to Design, test and implement Performance coverage to deliver a performance, scalable, operable, and resilient solution.
• Strong knowledge of Azure: Look for a candidate who has a deep understanding of Azure services, architecture, and components. They should be familiar with various Azure offerings, such as virtual machines, databases, event hubs, and service bus, etc.
• Scalability and auto-scaling: Look for a candidate who understands the concepts of scalability and auto-scaling in especially Azure. They should be familiar with configuring and testing auto-scaling mechanisms to handle varying workloads efficiently.
• Experience in performance test results, identifying potential bottlenecks, and recommending appropriate tuning of applications.
• Analyze and design performance test scenarios based on load patterns on a production system, Production application, and network layout.
• Experience in Performance analysis, debugging activities, diagnostics
• Performance Optimization Techniques: Seek candidates who have experience in identifying performance bottlenecks in Azure environments and proposing optimization strategies. They should be knowledgeable about caching mechanisms, database optimizations and other techniques to enhance system performance.
• At least 8 years of experience as a tester.
• Scripting: Look for a candidate who has JMeter scripting skills to test various platforms like API, Microservices, Eventhub, Service bus, Kafka, MQ, and COSMOS DB platforms.
• Bachelor's degree and experience in software development and technical quality assurance.
