About This Position


The Originations manager operates at a Strategic level in collaboration with AHFC and HCFI's business executives and IT senior leadership. The responsibility of the manager is to provide guidance and partnership with the Originations Business area for Projects, Enhancements and Support. The manager offers standardized processes and project management while overseeing all projects, enhancements and support from the IT teams and vendors.

Work with AHFC and HCFI Business, IT Executives and Senior Leadership to identify and prioritize all business IT investments.


Successfully deliver all Business and IT initiatives and projects, enhancements and daily support while maintaining security of the applications. Also, stay in compliance with Audit and Sox requirements. Ensure spending is tracked, reported and adheres to budget.


Build and maintain high performing teams while achieving the goals for Originations. This role also requires learning other areas and performing as Unit Manager when needed.


Responsibilities Include


  • Achieve the project goals for the Captive Finance Applications (CFA) Department as approved annually: including schedule, budget, and quality commitments.
  • Build and maintain a high performing IT team by fostering associate development and long-term capability by teaching, coaching, and mentoring, integrated with consistent and effective individual performance management. Ensure the team is motivated, engaged and inspired to achieve goals and objectives
  • Support AHFC and HCFI initiatives in the Captive Finance Originations space. Ensure tools and processes are up to date along with properly supported technology. Scrutinize and make recommendations regarding third party offerings and capabilities. Possess extensive knowledge in the captive auto finance space.
  • Work together with the Unit Manager to provide input for the direction and vision of AHM IT, the Division, Department and Unit. Contribute ideas and formulate the details on execution of Division, Department and Unit strategy
  • Build North American relationships and network to achieve trust and credibility by discovering and meeting the needs of internal and external customers. Use persuasion and influence to achieve maximum results with NA IT goals.


Competitive Salary: $103,000 to $154,500


Who We Are Seeking


Required Work Experience:


  • 5-10 Years Management
  • 10 years of combined IT or PM related work from within IT or IT related sales function
  • Project Management (PMP) certification preferred
  • 8 years of experience in Sales or Captive Finance roles from IT or non-IT background
  • 10-15 Years IT (at least 8 in Financial Services)
  • 8+ years of Project Management experience with a successful track record as a leader of large-scale, complex projects
  • 5 – 10 years loan originations with Captive Finance experiences


Required Education


  • BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
