LOCATION: U.S. Eastern Time Zone
Must reside in the US – preferably in the Eastern Time Zone. Remote working permitted. Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. This is a full-time position with benefits. Contractors will not be considered for this position.

What you will do:
The ideal candidate must be humble, collaborative, and deadline driven. Because of the nature of our work and our technology, successful candidates must take a growth mindset and be comfortable with ambiguity, with the ability to take a proactive, structured approach to achieve results. Results-orientation and deadline driven are critical in our fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will join a diverse team to:
- Work collaboratively with System Architects and Engineers to insure functional requirements are achievable and document specifications for hand-off to engineering build teams.
- Interface with product owners to understand and document functional requirements.
- Develop the functional and technical specifications required to enhance our existing solutions and build new solutions.
This will require the candidate to:
- Collaborate across the product management, client services and engineering teams, including business SMEs, analysts, developers, and engineers.
- Work closely with leadership to understand challenges and collaborate on solutions to support the development and refinement of Enterra’s products.
- Liaise between different teams across Enterra to ensure intended outcomes are met in the solution development.
Responsibilities also Include:
- Develop release notes, feature documentation, and any needed materials to help developers and engineers in the building and testing of the solution features and on-going enhancements.
- Support Client services in their development of training materials.
- Manage timely delivery of assigned tasks.
- Ensure that documentation standards, including repositories, are adhered to. This includes updating documentation, post testing and release.
- Participate in regular SDLC activities ranging from estimation, status reporting, SCRUM sessions, design meetings, code reviews etc.
- Contribute to the structure and design of solution components for use by the end users i.e., editors, reports and other visuals.
Requirements:
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and CI/CD pipeline tools (Jira, BitBucket)
- Prior experience of working in a role focused on creating and documenting technology specs in a business operations, ideally in a software company
- Comfortable with ambiguity with the ability to build structure and take a proactive approach to drive results.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task across tasks and projects within required deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Attention to detail – quality and accuracy in work is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate with business and technical personnel both internally and externally. This includes documentation, presentations, and individual analysis sessions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field.
- A minimum of 3 years of current, hands-on experience as a systems analyst or business technology analyst
