Description
Reporting to the Operating Center HSE Manager, the HSE Advisor will assist Branch, District and Regional Managers in compliance with local, state, federal, provincial and Badger Daylighting Corp. HSE regulations and requirements.
- Establish regular visit schedules for all branches in the assigned geographic area.
- Prepare weekly activity report and other reports as requested by supervisor or Corporate HSE management.
- Implement, conduct and continuously improve HSE education, knowledge and performance at branches within the assigned geographic area, including, Smith System defensive driving training, weekly HSE training, annual internal audits, incident investigations and reporting, field level behavior based worker observations and coaching (BBO's) and other tasks as requested by supervisor.
- Assist in incident and accident investigations, both internal and external, including root cause analysis, preparation of reports; incident summaries and management follow up.
- Conduct annual internal HSE audits and ensure follow up and corrective actions are completed.
- Work with Badger operations management, sales and marketing and business development as needed in providing HSE support and presence with current and potential clients.
- Support Area operations and office personnel in implementing and complying with HSE programs.
- Assist Badger Occupational Health and Leave team in worker illness, injury, first aid, worker compensation claims, return to work and other applicable employee health matter as requested.

- 5+ years' experience preferred in the following Industries

- Passionate, dedicated and self-directed HSE professional

- Must have and maintain clean driver's license
- High level of integrity
- Hands-on field operations experience
- Strong people skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Minimum 2 years college/university; 4 years preferred
In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Badger's reasonable estimate of the hiring compensation range for this role.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00
Compensation may vary and will be determined by the geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Candidates will be required to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include background check, MVR history and a drug test.
