Public Health Advisor Jobs

Eagle Global Scientific is working with CDC/NCIRD’s Influenza Division to provide serves in support of their mission of providing laboratory and epidemiology surveillance and technical assistance to state, national and international health entities and ministries throughout the world. We are seeking a Public Health Advisor to perform the following duties:

• Conduct data analysis and prepare reports for use in briefings, presentation, and testimony
• Provide scientific research for international surveillance
• Provide programmatic support to international surveillance systems for pandemic influenza
• Provide expertise, guidance and support in relation to Public Health
• Coordinate, and participate in Division planning meetings, conference calls and other work sessions
• Implement procedures for monitoring the financial and programmatic status of internal and extramural projects in order to recommend appropriate use of Division personnel and resources, which may include broad and significant program changes affecting influenza surveillance activities
• Possess knowledge of grant peer review planning and coordination including management of applications, recruitment of reviewers, and standardization of scoring and other post review activities

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education involves a Master’s degree in public health. Experience requirements include 1+ years in a similar capacity of responding in writing to questions or inquiries from the public.
