Delivering results through our Kellogg EHS Management Systems and Kellogg Work Systems you will ensure regulatory compliance, proactive risk reduction while continuing to foster the mindset that Zero is possible.

With your expertise you will work to strengthen the site’s EHS Management System by ensuring timely reporting of incidents, on-time completion of compliance tasks and the creation of effective action plans based on data driven analysis. You will also lead the employee engagement activities such as EHS Committees, Kellogg Safety Observations, and employee training. You can also use your coaching skills to provide key safety insights and increase knowledge and understanding across the plant through daily GEMBA walks. In addition, you can innovate with us as you inform and influence at all levels and functions to ensure that health and safety is a value and continuously improved upon.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Leadership – As a Key member of the EHS team, your standard work will include actively leading in daily direction setting with an emphasis on predictive risk assessments, behavior-based safety observations and hazard recognition activities such GEMBA’s and other EHS improvement initiatives. Commitment to our strong presence of safety through your leadership is key. Leading and working collaboratively across all site functions.
- Functional Support – Serving as the technical coach for all relevant, plant people safety and environmental compliance areas
- Delivering Success – Analysis of leading and lagging indicator performance to ensure robust corrective and preventative action plans.
- EHS Management System – Incident Management including root cause investigations, managing compliance task, EHS Audits, Risk Assessments and Workers Compensation
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Strong experience and knowledge of safety and environment compliance
- Previous experience of environmental, health, & safety management with a preference in food and beverage
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Safety Management, Engineering, Chemistry or Environmental Science preferred)
- Demonstrated organizational, communication, research, and analytical skills
