This position is responsible for ensuring clean and food safe operations in license stores across the North region of the United States. Required skills include; the ability to identify and close operational gaps that impact food safety while being a strategic partner to the Regional Vice President, Regional Directors and District Managers. Storytelling through data analysis and influencing without authority are key to success in this position.
Knowledgeable and able to interpret Retail Public Health and food safety regulations, standards, procedures and tools to advise cross functional teams. Incorporates, summarizes and leverages retail public health, food safety, and retail operational data to advise cross functional partners on projects and operations. Applies technical Retail Public Health and food safety knowledge to projects and gathers insights (i.e. equipment, facilities, in-store procedures, food safety assessment). Leverages knowledge and experience to interface with Local and State regulatory authorities and associations to build relationships, clarify interpretation, and resolve issues. Uses multiple sources of information to make recommendations with guidance from manager. Advises cross functional and retail operation leaders to identify opportunities and drive improvement in Retail Public Health and food safety. Proactively analyzes retail public health, food safety, and retail operational data to provide shoulder-to-shoulder coaching and advise cross functional partners on projects and operations. Escalates issues to manager, devises and communicates improvement strategies. Understands and remains current on Retail Public Health and food safety industry trends and practices. Adapts to learn new areas of the business.
As a (Retail Public Health Advisor Senior), you
o Must exhibit Business Acumen and strong people skills when communicating with Strategic Business Licensees.
o Ability to influence with intent, influencing Licensees to adopt recommend practices and use of tools for Clean and Food Safe stores is important for a successful partnership.
o Strong communication skills required to work with various level leaders within Starbucks and within each Licensed corporation.
