Supply Chain Planner Jobs

The hired candidate will work closely with the Body, Plastics and Powertrain production planners cross-functionally to ensure customer requirements are planned and manufactured. The Planner will track, plan and procure the necessary end-customer packaging and work directly with external vendors to ensure on-time delivery of packaging, confirm goods receipts, and reconcile purchases and payments. This role will alos be responsible for developing and/or maintain core KPl's, manage schedules, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Generate and publish presentations, and/or reports on performance metrics as needed
• Collaborate effectively with vendors, Tesla GSM and Packaging Eng.
• Identify gaps and risks and propose solutions to meet plans and schedules
• Maintain accurately and manage requirements for every part and ensure just-in-time delivery
• Decisions
• Stablish shipment frequency with Tesla vendors, facilitate outbound shipments if necessary
• Lead the daily management of packaging procurement from PO creation to delivery
• Provide clear and concise data analysis of spend (quarterly/monthly) to support supply-chain
• Work directly with Outbound Logistics groups to plan and execute shipments
• Other duties as assigned
• Provide ongoing transparency of core KPI; highlight deficiencies and provide solutions
• Direct support on development training of overall packaging process
• Support on program management, training on operational needs
• Direct contact for Tesla Service Planning, retrieve, analyze, visualize forecast and firm order data

• Ability to problem solve within cross-functional teams and across companies
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Supply Chain Engineering
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel required; proven experience with MS Office preferred
• 2+ years' experience in supply chain (planning/scheduling, procurement, or project management)
• Knowledge of WARP, MES, and transportation of dangerous goods are valued assets
• Strong analytical capabilities; ability to perform data analysis and research trends.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage daily operations and support projects simultaneously
