Job Description

Direct Hire!

Manufacturing company in the Irving area seeking a Production Planner

100% On-site

Salary: 50k - 60k

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

Production Planner Responsibilities:

  • Planning, scheduling and monitoring of production requirements.
  • Coordinate important material deliveries with buyer to manage shortages.
  • Review current orders for potential issues and notify manager of changes that could affect the delivery schedule
  • Collaborate with sr. planner and buyer to identify cost saving opportunities.
  • Provide data/input for production status reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department Manager.
  • Use ERP Reports to review/control inventory requirements and work in process.
  • Request expedites to meet delivery schedules and monthly targets.
  • Work cross functionally with other departments (Engineering, Production, Quality) to achieve a common goal.

Production Planner Requirements:

  • Understanding the manufacturing process
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Understanding of Supply Chain
  • Experience using MRP/ERP System
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, Etc.
