Job Overview
The Supply Chain Planner II Demand's primary role is to create and maintain the operational forecast of over 600 full good items to produce an accurate delivery forecast for future customer demand, drive distribution, manufacturing, material, and deployment planning. This individual plays a pivotal role to plan future new SKU forecast assumptions to support in-market dates. Supports the Product Supply Planning optimization process for capacity, freight, and capability. Responsible for driving forecast accuracy while maintaining demand system visibility supporting produced and purchased inventory levels measured in days of supply (DOS) across the entire CCCI system.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates on crucial demand project milestones to drive distribution, manufacturing, material, and deployment planning for assigned SKU lifecycle item initiatives
- Provides forecast to key partners, CCNA, Monster (MEC), and BodyArmor on purchased items
- Generates forecast and adjustments for future demand to support new or existing items, Chain or Market Unit (MU) extensions, and manage deleted items to support inventory optimization
- Utilizes the forecast accuracy reporting tool to target items that need some detailed analysis for resolution
- Forecast Management – Applies acquired best practices for managing purchased forecast product for seasonal SKU activity, any disturbances in customer shift in demands, school, and beach markets
- Support pallets drop needs on (lobby displays, wings, end caps, and snack bundles)
- Utilize price plans, look of success (LOS) to forecast the customer needs on marketing and sales initiatives
- Utilizes the demand workbench and manages the scrub process for chains and package assignments by correcting forecast on any identified unplanned promotional activity causing a system lift or increased forecast
- Collaborates on weekly calls with direct support Chain customers, reviews past week and future promotional item packages, discusses any shifts in promotional week activity, and reviews new or deleted item planning
- Demand lead on Market Unit (MU)s calls to provide demand updates and field any forecast questions
- Customer Management – Manages assigned high profile CCCI territory Chain accounts, set region, and package ownerships to oversee produced, purchased finished goods demand following Product Supply Planning forecast specifics and processes
- Fosters and builds upon internal and external customer relationships and supports customer service initiatives
- Add intelligence to planning forecast system to shape the trended forecast
- Monitors and revises initial forecasts based on published information from Trade and Marketing Teams
- Input forecast to support up to 3 weeks before event week
- Track forecast accuracy on a lag 2 basis against sales

- This role coordinates multi-facets of demand planning to support new item SKU launches, strategic collaboration with high profile Chains sales initiatives, and drives optimal forecast to support our internal and external partners' deployment execution strategies

- The Supply Chain Planner II Demand – must be able to perform a robust evaluation of forecast performance, to drive sales of finished goods
- Seeks out collaborative solutions to address customer issues
- Experience in Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Management, or other Bottler or Transportation Industry
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
- Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Communication, or Business Administration
