This position is located on-site in our Boca Raton headquarters.

We are searching for a Demand Planner to join our team. We've grown considerably over the past few months and our purchase volume has increased substantially, both domestically and internationally. Consequently, we need a highly organized person to ensure our operations are timely, efficient and as cost-effective as possible. The successful candidate will estimate future product demand, analyze inventory flows and develop forecasting models for all existing customers and as new ones are being onboarded.

Responsibilities

• Effectively address demand-related issues in a timely manner
• Work with internal teams to improve in-stock efficiencies, help drive process automating tasks that are currently being performed manually
• Monitor and report important changes in budgets, sales forecasts and business strategies
• Support management team with risk assessments and the appropriate mitigation activities
• Conduct monthly forecast maintenance
• Ensure adequate supply of product while minimizing working inventory investment by assessing ordering activity
• Develop forecast models based on industry trends and demand pattens
• Assist with month-end closing
• Assist with monthly vendor reconciliations
• Review forecasting error ratios and assist in decision making to ensure that we are maximizing availability while managing down unproductive inventory levels

Job Skills / Requirements

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
• Advanced skills in Excel – able to create Pivot tables and conduct v-lookups
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Must have an in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting policies
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
