The Supply Transformation Department is responsible for engaging supply chain partners in the strategic development, planning and execution of world-class supply chain practices. The Supply Chain Senior Analyst role would support new and ongoing projects through interpretation of data and predicting business impacts within the Food & Beverage/Merchandise supply chain, by identifying opportunities to enhance and transform the current value chains.

Responsibilities

Apply analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes by assembling data, analyze performance, identify problems, and develop recommendations, which support tactical and strategic initiatives and projects.

Analyze the movement of goods through the value stream, assess current processes, perform gap analyses, and develop process improvements.

Identify and facilitate tactical projects to be implemented within strategic supply chain programs.

• Proactively identify new opportunities and estimate value, assist with prioritization
• Think strategically through work streams, connecting the dots with other initiatives
• Mentor/provide guidance to entry level analysts by sharing subject matter expertise and being a thought partner on analytical approach and calculations
• Develop complex, technical models and multi variable analysis
• Elevate project risks and potential limitations of model inputs and outputs
• Lead projects through from start to finish, including scoping, executing, and presenting your results to influence clients and business partners
• Collaborate with internal team and partners to drive initiatives forward
• Create persuasive communications and visuals, using data as a foundation for the story
• Be flexible, work independently, problem solve
• Extract and validate data, conduct analyses, observe operational impacts, clearly document and organize data, and interpret the results into actionable recommendations

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and work effectively within a matrix organization and project environment (e.g. Agile)
• Efficacy in communicating complex ideas clearly and influencing senior leadership
• Ability to make decisions with minimal guidance while managing multiple projects/analysis in varying stages of progress
• Proficiency using MS Excel, R, SAS, or other statistical tools
• Ability to work with leaders at all levels to coordinate team efforts
• 4+ years of related experience
• Solid project and time management techniques
• Strong sense of responsibility, independence, ownership and pride in delivering quality results, and understanding the business impacts

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Supply Chain principles and strategies
• Experience with visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Power BI)
• Proficiency with analytical software and programing/query languages (e.g. SQL, Snowflake, R, Python)

Required Education

• Preferred advanced degree in business, math or science related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in statistics, data / computer science or analytical fields such as Supply Chain Logistics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
