What to expect:
The Demand Planner works collaboratively with the commercial Brand teams to refine statistical forecasts and layer in market information for a rolling 24-month horizon. This role works cross functionally with Commercial, Sales, Finance, and Supply to develop and execute an accurate Demand Plan to meet customer needs and drive company growth. The Demand Planner also supports the IBP Demand Review and driving IBP process improvements.
What we expect:
- Support Implementation & Process Improvement
- Supports preparation and facilitation of Demand Reviews and other associated IBP meetings, including consolidation and distribution of presentation materials, presentation of plans, meeting notes/action items, etc.
- Works with management team to identify and resolve issues in support of IBP.
- Support the IBP process and help facilitate Supply and Executive IBP reviews.
- Leads the Demand management activities for each monthly IBP cycle including:
- Direct responsibility for the management of the consensus forecast for assigned brands.
- Collaborate with commercial to incorporate current and long-term market intelligence into the Demand forecast, including NPI/EOL
- Monitor Demand plan performance (Forecast accuracy and bias), understand variances, and use them to drive Forecast accuracy improvement.
- Establish and document assumptions in the demand plan to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Compare valued demand plan to latest Financial Forecast to highlight large variances.
- Represent Demand Planning in IBP Demand reviews (Regional and Global)
- Support the IBP process and help facilitate Supply and Executive IBP reviews.

- Supports the ongoing process improvement of the IBP process with focus on Demand.
- Establish and document assumptions in the demand plan to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Represent Demand Planning in IBP Demand reviews (Regional and Global)

Qualifications:
The Demand Supply Planner Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
- 2-5 Years with Bachelor’s Degree
- Bachelor’s Degree, May have Master’s Degree (Business Administration, Management, Sales, Marketing or related field)
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions, esp. Sales & Marketing

Skillset:
- Ability to effectively communicate and translate data to a variety of audiences
- Experience in Demand Planning and/or Sales & Operations Planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including statistical analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of S&OP systems and processes
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency PC/Window – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
The annualized base salary range for this role is $59,300 – $93,300 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
