The Student Recruitment Specialist - U.S. will Support the Assistant Director of Student Recruitment – U.S. with the coordination of recruiting activities and programs. Student Recruitment Specialist will also be responsible for providing support for all aspects of student recruitment/summer program for the national summer program and OCI.


  • Plan and coordinate interviewer training programs and generate interviewer materials for US offices
  • Support the planning and execution of on-campus events during the academic year
  • Oversee the recruitment of Summer Associates. Support the management and implementation of a recruitment timeline and document processes, policies and best practices for US offices
  • Support the coordinated outreach efforts at national law schools to increase the firm’s visibility
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives
  • Recommend and guide firm-wide pre-recruiting activities
  • Produce recruiting materials specifically for 2L student recruiting
  • Supports development of collateral materials such as diversity and pro bono materials, social media content, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Information Systems team to ensure Lawcruit meets the needs of the recruiting team for purposes of application processing, applicant tracking, prospective applicant tracking, scheduling interviews, and producing data and reports
  • Enhances the Firm’s relationships with law school Deans and Career Services professionals and ensures the Firm information/updates are communicated, aiming to increase Firm visibility on campus; establishes strong relationships with firm Hiring Partners and Recruiting Committees
  • In coordination with the AD, and local managers, support the implementation of the SEO Scholars program and 1L Fellows across the US
  • In coordination with the local office Managers, ensure efficient maintenance and production of all student recruiting data. Provide regular and ad hoc reports and analysis of law student recruiting and summer associates
  • Oversee and update the Career Opportunities website in conjunction with our external vendor
  • Support national survey completion and form filings related to student recruitment


Education/Training/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the job

Professional Experience:

  • Prior student recruiting experience in a legal setting, required
  • Minimum of three years of recruiting experience, required

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Flo Recruit, WebEx, and/or Zoom preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office suite, required
  • Experience with applicant tracking software, preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • May require occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
