Primary responsibilities include:


We are looking for a motivated Recruitment Coordinator to play a key role in the recruitment process for AKIRA’s corporate functions. The Recruitment Coordinator will support the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers by serving as a liaison between candidates and hiring teams, while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. You’ll play a key role in identifying appropriate candidates, managing and coordinating high-volume interview activity and supporting onboarding procedures. This role requires a high level of organization and initiative as well as excellent communication. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop a career in Talent Acquisition!




Essential Functions:



  • Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to find "passive" candidates
  • Communicate regularly to hiring teams and recruiters around interview process and updates
  • Schedule a high volume of interviews (in-person, phone, and video) between candidates and interviewing teams
  • Act as a system administrator for our applicant tracking system (ATS) and "super user", including ensuring database integrity and maintaining ATS data
  • Maintain records relating to employees, ensuring confidentiality of applicant data
  • Manage Talent Acquisition inbox and respond to candidate inquiries
  • Support the recruitment process through screening and assessing candidates for background and skills
  • Support strong and consistent outreach to internal hiring managers and external candidates by capturing contacts and all communication records in the recruitment database
  • Greet candidates for in-person interviews, providing a welcoming and professional visit
  • Fulfill any administrative needs related to department operations, such as, preparing reports and organizing documents, scheduling and reconciliation of specific departmental expenses, etc.
  • Prepare and post job descriptions to company job boards
  • Develop a strategy for candidate pipeline development and sourcing by utilizing all available tools, including enhancing our current career website, social media, job boards, recruiting tools, and agencies
  • Communicate with candidates promptly and assist them throughout the process



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree from a four year accredited institution

  • Proven experience using social media for recruitment, job boards, recruiting tools, etc.
