THE CHALLENGE
- Consult, coach and guide leadership on talent topics in order to drive business results; Observe, identify, and surface trends in both qualitative and quantitative data to inform opportunities and solutions (talent agenda), and measure impact; Interpret data and tie metrics to business and org strategy
- Participate or lead in career planning, performance management, compensation and rewards, employee relations, employer value proposition, inclusion and diversity, org design and workforce planning, succession planning, and employee engagement efforts
- Contribute to elevating the BX organization inclusive of driving efficiencies in our processes, programs, identifying opportunities for new and different ways of working, and bringing creative solutions that help us differentiate for our business and our employees
- Coach and guide leadership on leadership capabilities and performance
- Collaborate and consult with key stakeholders to deliver on talent strategy; Be a thought partner and help connect the dots with key stakeholders
- Build trust based relationships with leadership and engage in business cadences and rhythms to build business acumen; Advise the talent solutions with a business and/or employee perspective
- Consult and advise on complex ER issues.
- Act as a SME for talent and people matters within Engineering and other areas
- Bring a design led thinking mindset to build of talent solutions; Leverage process and project management capabilities to deploy efficient and programmatic solutions and be an enabler and owner
- Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results
- Experience balancing strategic projects and hands on work
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with global cross-functional teams and partners across all levels of the organization
- Skilled in using broad knowledge of HR competencies to appropriately consult the business on the right talent solutions and to engage the right key stakeholders
- Proven track record developing and operationalizing people initiatives in a collaborative way, reflecting a balance of the business and broader Eventbrite with a goal of high value impact
- Demonstrated success in a fast-moving environment, fast-growing technology companies
- Business partnership experience grounded in strong business acumen and HR expertise, including a global mindset and a consultative approach with leaders and managers
- 8+ years of HR experience with demonstrated progression in the field of HR
- Fluent in using data and insights across the various responsibilities of the HRBP role
- Self-directed and able to effectively manage complex situations simultaneously
- Experience in a global tech organization partnering with Product and Engineering organizations
- Change management experience
- Experience in other functional areas of HR
- Depth in building programs and owning full implementations
