Staff Accountant - Revenue (Hybrid Remote)

We are seeking a Staff Accountant - Hybrid Remote (home/office) with strong accounting skills and experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment to join our Revenue Accounting team. The Revenue Accounting team is responsible for general ledger revenue entries, revenue and refund reconciliation(s), and revenue analysis.

An ideal candidate will be able to apply their strong excel skills and analytical thinking to improve the company’s procedures and process flows. The candidate should be eager to learn, a self-starter, detail oriented, and be able to demonstrate full ownership of their work.

• Prepare revenue and accounts receivable journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls for key accounts for monthly, quarterly and yearly close processes.
• Assist with the monthly reporting.
• Support the Revenue team with fulfillment of internal and external audits requirements.
• Assist in integration of Legacy Acquisition.
• Collaborate with the revenue team on completion of the month end close process.
• Assist in the design and testing of new revenue reports.
• Heavy involvement in billing cycle accounts, including ASC 606, accounts receivable, escheatment, refunds and voids, and warranty liabilities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Preferred Requirements

• Revenue accounting experience a plus.
• 2 years’ related experience in Accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to be a supportive and positive team member.

• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written skills.
• Experience working in a public accounting firm or in a large, publicly traded company a plus.

• Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and V-lookups.

Pay range of $60,000 to $75,000+ annual bonus up to 5% of base pay depending on bonus criteria. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
