KPS Global is looking for a Staff Accountant to join the Finance Group.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller the Staff Accountant is responsible for accurate and timely processing of assigned general accounting duties including but not limited to maintaining financial records and reports,

performing account reconciliations, assisting with close processes, conducting external audits, and support the areas of cost accounting and accounts payable.

Major Responsibilities

• Maintaining general ledger and assisting with managing a system of internal controls
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
• Preparing journal entries, month-end accruals, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
• Providing financial, operational, and management information as required
• Assisting with audits.
• Fulfilling the financial control and risk management responsibilities inherent in the role
• Conducting yourself in accordance with the Company Code of Ethics policy at all times
• Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Performing financial analysis mainly in the areas of expenses, accounts payables and cost.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or finance required

Required Experience

• 2+ years of accounting experience. Manufacturing experience required.
• Expert level Excel user with an ability to handle diverse projects and adjust priorities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with month-end process including accruals and journal entries
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
