The Business Management job is responsible for providing strategic support for the assigned business area. While focusing on high level projects, this job executes strategic business management consulting to leaders by analyzing metrics and presentations to support business strategies, driving business management policies and routines, and being the central point of contact for leaders in the execution of business management tasks. This job is considered a subject matter expert in the Business Management area.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Supports business management projects by monitoring and tracking risks, issues and action items.
• Acts as a day-to-day technical/functional expert in assigned area and makes decisions on tactical issues that impact the business.
• Maintains and supports implementation of policies and procedures in support of the business area strategy.
• Implements process improvements.
• Drives and oversees meeting planning in support of business projects and objectives.
• Influences the development of new strategic initiatives through tracking budgets and milestones.
• Analyzes and reports on area data (financial, headcount, etc.) and performance metrics.

• 5+ years combined experience in Business Management and Project Management

• Prior experience effectively managing relationships with executives, multiple teams, complex processes, critical services, and cross-functional projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to be resourceful in complex situations
• Previous experience in financial services and/or insurance industry
• Experience developing structured and logical presentations, presenting to senior executives, and leading/facilitating multi-party meetings
• Ability to deliver under pressure and provide informed responses to leadership in short timeframes
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to handle sensitive leadership information with utmost confidentiality
• High degree of endurance and flexibility to work through multiple iterations of work and quickly manage changing priorities and diverse subject matters
• 7+ years combined experience in Business Management and Project Management
• Experience working in a matrixed management structure, including an ability to influence and partner with business unit leaders and their team

• Operational Excellence: communications, technology roadmaps, continuous improvement, location strategy, organizational design, financial oversight, risk management
• Provides the organization with various levels of project management for team-level project/initiatives and senior leadership prep documentation as necessary
• Strategic Execution: goal setting, change management, strategic key initiative alignment, performance metrics, project management/execution of various initiatives
• Associate Experience: onboarding, culture, early talent, headcount planning, learning & development

Base Pay Range: $89,600/yr. - $149,300/yr.
