Job Description

Position Summary


We are seeking a skilled individual that can join theSAP SuccessFactors applications team to support and enhance the current SAP SuccessFactors platform, maintain current processes, and participate in introducing new functionality to support the business.The Sr. HRIS Analyst serves as a technical point-of-contact for a global community of HR professionals.The position supports the daily administration of the SAP SuccessFactors platform (all modules) and assists with maintenance and troubleshooting of various system issues. Client management is crucial as this role will interface with stakeholders across the organization through management of the HRIS Helpdesk.Primary areas of responsibility are the development and analysis of HR reports, metrics, and analytics to support the business.


The Sr. HRIS Analyst may lead/co-lead small-to-mid level projects and plans and hosts monthly informational webinars to educate and share SAP SuccessFactors and Visier Workforce Analytics updates with the global HR community. This position has responsibility for documenting system procedures, developing business process flows, ensuring data quality, training of end users, identifying trends in user support and supporting system upgrades through execution of testing scenarios.This is a small team, so partnership and collaboration are critical to success.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities


  • Projects/Process Improvement(20% of time): Participate in a variety of projects across Employee Central and Talent Management modules by testing, documenting, and supporting deployment.Upgrade testing and communication.
  • Individual Development(5% of time): Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS.Continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
  • Reporting, Metrics and Analysis(30% of time): Develop expertise in Visier People Analytics.Develop, maintain, and support a variety of reports and metrics using appropriate reporting tools including SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Production Support(25% of time): Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems or unexpected results, requests, and problems. Perform scheduled activities and reports for cyclical activities.Coordinate with 3rd party support providers on solutions.Communicate status and resolutions to users.
  • Maintain Data Integrity(15% of time): Update HRIS tables and user security. Manage system security and security process, administer new and delete user accounts, update data tables, configure processes and tools, troubleshoot issues, maintain process documentation and logs, lead security audits, etc. Monitor workflow escalations. Perform mass data uploads and research/report on any data discrepancies.
  • Communication & Training (5% of time): Organize and lead the monthly internal user group meeting covering variety of new and ongoing topics.Train new and existing users on reports and HRIS functionality.


Requirements


  • Experience and comfort presenting / training large audiences and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (with extensive experience in and knowledge of formulas and functions, VLOOKUP, pivot tables and charts).
  • 5+ years of HRIS related experience including 3+ years the SAP SuccessFactors HR SaaS products.
  • Compensation administration experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Visier a plus.
  • Ability to take ownership of problems and use initiative to resolve.
  • Ability to understand the business and leverage analytics to convey a story.Expert in the use of query tools and other report generation tools used to create reports and HR metrics.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or closely related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience in supporting the HR function with technology, especially SAP SuccessFactors products will be considered.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning/follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently as well as work in a collaborative team environment and take direction from senior departmental staff.
  • Team-player in the planning and implementation of multiple projects with different deadlines under pressure and ability to handle changing priorities.
