What a Typical Day Looks Like
Lead and manage all aspects of our client distribution and supply chain operations.
Identify and implement innovative strategies to maximize client value and drive organic growth.
Ensure operational efficiency, maintain high-quality standards, and prioritize safety in line with company objectives and customer requirements.
Develop and refine operational processes and procedures, providing valuable insights through performance reporting and potential improvement recommendations.
Inspire and mentor managers and supervisors, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team cohesion.
Conduct research on personnel requirements for automation solutions based on product profiles and activity levels.
Establish and achieve site objectives across financial performance, safety, quality, and customer service, while adhering to internal and external policies.
Deliver accurate and timely submission of key reports related to quality, financials, and safety.
Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff effectively, taking prompt corrective actions when necessary and in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with departmental managers and supervisors to coordinate plant activities and achieve objectives within established timelines and budgets.
Cultivate a culture of innovation and success, valuing diverse perspectives, talents, backgrounds, and experiences.
What You Need To Succeed
To excel in this role, we are seeking someone who possesses the following qualifications and characteristics:
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Managerial/supervisory Experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with computerized scanner equipment.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
It Would Be a Plus If You Also Have
Bachelor's or master's degree.
Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
Experience in supply chain management within a distribution environment.
Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Process Improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO environments.
Working knowledge of financial accounting and human resources practices.
Demonstrated success in fostering a diverse, inclusive workforce and nurturing a culture of belonging.
