Solar Warranty Manager (Remote)

About the Role

Borrego is seeking a Solar Warranty Manager to join our growing team! The Solar Warranty Manager will be responsible for managing projects related to warranty claims made against Borrego nationwide. This position will validate warranty claims, scope repairs, obtain estimates for budgeting, and manage day-to-day activity for warranty projects.

Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Obtain quotes, develop and submit PO’s for subcontracted work within the Salesforce platform
• Ensure that Borrego is meeting all local, state and federal regulations required to complete warranty work
• Manage all subcontractors which are assigned to their projects
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Serve as the main point of contact for all warranty claims made against Borrego EPC
• Manage all warranty claims made against Borrego EPC
• Develop and implement processes for the efficient and accurate resolution of warranty claims made against Borrego EPC
• Ensure that work being performed meets or exceeds Borrego Solar standards
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction
• Track and report to both management and customers on the progress of pending work, work in progress, and completed work
• Ensure that Borrego Solar is meeting all contractual obligations. (i.e. meeting terms and conditions outlined in each contract warranty)
• Demonstrate integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, as well as a focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis

Required Skills and Experience:

• Background in construction trades such as Solar, Electrical, or mechanical fields
• Budgeting
• Great problem-solving skills
• Customer relations
• Internal team management and collaboration
• Subcontractor management
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Contract management

The targeted pay scale for this role is $106,460-$137,046 annually. Actual compensation will be based on an assessment of factors including the successful candidate's experience, skill, and other job-related factors.
