About the role
The new leader will develop and execute an ambitious growth strategy, leveraging an excellent product suite, bolstered through access to a crossover of resources, leveraging Brightly’s global development organisation.
Brightly is seeking an executive to drive this next evolution Assetic’s growth journey.
This role is location flexible within Australia; Brightly supports a Work from Anywhere (work from home) candidate, employed anywhere in Australia.
What you will do
The executive will hold a key position on the senior leadership team, with a focus to:
- Best Practice: Able to identify and implement consistent and relentless best practice approaches across the teams.
- Build the machine: Develop suitable systems, processes and KPIs for driving all areas of the sales cycle and the sales machine which includes lead generation and field sales. Further build and manage the sales pipeline to accurately forecast and deliver revenue commitments.
- New business winning and growth opportunities: Migrating clients, cross sell and upsell including bringing US products to the ANZ market.
- Marketing: Will own lead generation and provide material/slide decks/content to enable sales teams to engage with customers.
- Grow the Assetic/Brightly business through leading and executing the go-to-market and product strategies. Will own the revenue number and its growth.
- Product: Feedback into product and tech at HQ.
- Leadership: Build, lead and inspire the team of 70 professionals whilst developing a high-performance culture, centred on a shift from product to customer centricity. Mentoring and coaching underperforming team members and hiring top talent into the organisation.
- Service Delivery: Collaboration between sales and professional services will include the promotion/elevation of services as a revenue stream.
- Partners: Develop / promote relationships with Partners across the region.
What you need
This executive will have a deep experience in:
- General management, including the application of systems and processes for sustainable growth
- Leading in an agile and ambitious SaaS environment
- Ideally, they will have deep experience in asset intensive industries
- Successful sales growth
Revenue Growth: Experience in a company with a track record of achieving revenue targets, a history of designing and implementing go-to market products, and a history of driving new business generation.
SaaS: Experience working with a Software as a Service or Software business.
Services: Experience leading or scaling a services business.
Sector Knowledge: Experience within the asset management, IoT or sustainability space or having sold to customers in the sectors of government, education, healthcare and/or manufacturing.
People Leadership: Experience leading a multi-faceted team. Ability to assess and evaluate existing teams, while identifying strong talent, recruiting for diverse skills and perspectives, and possessing the fortitude to hold people accountable.
