Job Description

Solution Sales Executive – Digital Solutions

The Solution Sales Executive will join an established account team within one or more of Cognizant's industry-leading customers in the Technology industry to drive additional revenue growth specific to Digital Engineering and Experience Design solutions. Applying their subject matter expertise in Digital Technologies, Solution Sales Execs partner with the customer to identify areas of opportunity to improve business outcomes through digital transformation and intuition engineering that when implemented, lead to improved experiences for everyone.


Responsibilities:

  • Forge relationships with VP/CXO decision makers across IT and business teams in the technology industry
  • Run end-to-end lead generation, sales and RFI/RFP processes for specific solution
  • Own and deliver on revenue and Total Commercial Value targets
  • Drive revenue by prioritization, structuring, and leading digital engagements
  • Lead financial and contract terms, negotiation, and outsourcing discussions
  • Develop and execute Account Growth strategy and business plans relevant to Digital, Experience Design and Quality Engineering. Coordinate with account teams to integrate with the account’s larger growth plan
  • Manage operations and maintain process and system hygiene to enable system oriented KPI’s and measurement
  • Advise account leadership and delivery leadership by highlighting risks and issues related to the engagements
  • Map client organization, build outstanding relationships with new business units, and create sales strategies for developing new business opportunities for digital engineering and agile application development services
  • Envision and build new opportunities within existing and new businesses
  • Work closely with the practices and delivery organization to co-define and drive transformation strategy and service offerings across the areas of Digital Engineering and Experience technologies
  • Drive collective focus with multiple teams on larger multi service line deals
  • Work in a matrix organization to achieve prospecting and other sales management goals

Qualifications: #LI-EG1, #EGSLS, #EGHC, #LI-Remote, #LI-Hybrid

  • Sales Experience: 4+ years of experience in consultative selling of software engineering and experience design services/solutions, including both custom developed and platform-based solutions
  • Self-drive, flexibility and ownership of objectives
  • Capable of working with clients to envision, structure and specify solution requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions makers and develop followership among colleagues and subordinates
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge on current industry trends and capabilities in software, experience and quality engineering disciplines
  • Logical and structured approach to presenting opinions/views and interpretation of information
  • Capable of structuring and editing presentations and proposals leveraging content that is both self-generated and provided by colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to manage entire sales lifecycle from opportunity identification (focus on farming) to negotiation/contracting
  • An additional 5+ years of experience in software development and implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals ranging in size from $250K to $5M+
