Social Media Creator & Strategist

PathMatch is a Career Navigation App for Students and Recruiting Platform for Employers. Our client, a pet brand that created a VIRAL pet brand with over 50 MILLION views on Tik Tok and Instagram, is seeking a Social Media Creator & Strategist to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Build and execute social media strategy through ongoing pet category research, benchmarking, active engagement with commenters and most importantly…active content creation!
• Assist Director of Marketing with tracking of keyword ad campaigns daily and suggest immediate changes when lead activity decreases.
• Communicates social media marketing projects thoroughly and successfully to team members through written and oral communication, anticipating team member questions and input.
• Assist with some marketing projects or tasks, as needed such as email, social media and email marketing, and other campaigns.
• Consistently create engaging, fun TikTok and Instagram videos and images educating the audience on how amazing our clients products can be for them as dog parents - especially those which have more frequent accidents indoors such as with puppies and senior dogs.
• Improve lead generation and general discovery of new content by target groups.
• Primarily devoting working hours to TikTok & Instagram, skillfully promoting our unique and eco-friendly pet accident cleanup solution.
• Monitor social media analytics, optimizing for incremental engagement and follower growth. Reporting daily, weekly, monthly goals and our progress.
• Generate, edit, publish and engage with content daily on various platforms which eventually builds a fun and interactive community
• Stay 'in-the-know' with social media trends and backboard your strategy with some of these trending sounds, memes, and other content!
• Manage social media calendar
• Attend occasional events such as dog shows, pet industry shows, and community events.

Qualifications

• Provable success on social media - even if only a personal account. Having a follower count of at least a few thousand with great engagement.
• Outstanding knowledge about features on TikTok and Instagram.
• Adequate experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Canva.
• A great sense of humor! We're dealing in a product application which allows for an abundance of hilarious angles!
• This position allows for some remote 'work from home' each week.
• Exemplary time management skills and excellent written communication skills
