Overview: Our management client is a recording artist and creative entrepreneur, searching for a video editing enthusiast who deeply understands social media (particularly TikTok and Instagram) to join their team and help create engaging content.
: In this role you'll have the opportunity to work closely in-person with a talented artist and musician who explores themes of self-love, connection, and vulnerability, playing an essential role in showcasing their vision. Your main task will be to create (in-person) and edit captivating, high-quality video content for TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms. We're looking for someone who's playful, open-minded, excited about utilizing the latest generative AI tech, and possesses a unique or subtle sense of humor. This role is part-time, requiring about 20 hours per week, with room to grow based on your performance and our needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the artist and creative team to develop and edit short-form video content reflecting themes of self-love, connection, and vulnerability, which resonates with our target audience.
- Use your deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram to create videos that align with current trends and best practices while maintaining the artist's distinctive voice and style.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, storyboarding, and planning video shoots to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
- Continuously learn and experiment with new video editing techniques, generative AI tools, and other creative technologies to elevate the quality and engagement of our content.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of our social media content, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program related to entertainment, marketing, media production, communications, or a relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of and passion for TikTok and Instagram culture, trends, and best practices.
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and engaging short-form video content.
- Playful, open-minded, and eager to learn and experiment with new creative tools, particularly generative AI technologies.
- Unique or subtle sense of humor, able to incorporate unconventional ideas into content creation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
