Assistant, Social Media (Part-Time)

About The Position

The Golden State Warriors are looking for an upbeat and organized Mandarin-speaking Assistant to work with the international Social Media team. In this role, you will ideate, create, and publish content across Warriors and Chase Center Chinese social media channels. This position reports to the Manger, Digital Marketing.

This is a great opportunity for someone with basic social media knowledge and love for live entertainment to gain experience working on a large-scale brand’s channels.

This is a part-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate empathy with visitors, fans, and customers to ensure their experience is a priority
• Translate English materials and add Chinese subtitles to English videos
• Support social media team in game day and Chase Center event coverage (i.e., publishing, and behind-the-scenes content capture, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned
• Ideate, create, and publish content across Warriors and Chase Center Chinese social channels (e.g., WeChat, Weibo, Douyin and Kuaishou)
• Assist in maintaining our daily, weekly, and monthly content calendars for Chinese platforms

Required Experiences & Skills

• Fluent in Mandarin; excellent writing skills in Simplified Chinese
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital landscape strategy
• Minimum 3 months of experience in creating social media content for Chinese platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Photoshop and video editing experience preferred
• Impeccable attention to detail and highly organized

Time Commitment

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation

• $23.00 per hour
