We know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build those relationships with team members in other cities, we meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. What the Role Is
We are looking for a Site Merchandising Specialist to join our growing e-commerce team. In this role, you will report to and work with the Senior Manager of Site Merchandising on executing a best in class strategy to support the growing assortment We have lofty goals, so having the most helpful, informative, and engaging product detail pages are crucial to support our user in a time of research & discovery. You will own product information, ratings & reviews, search optimization and inspire product photography. This is an exciting opportunity to have a big impact on our overall user experience!
Who You Are
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an e-commerce capacity
- You have a deep understanding of web and mobile based consumer behavior and metrics
- You are flexible and can adapt to changing priorities
- You have strong communication skills and can work effectively with diverse partners & have experience managing multiple stakeholders
- You have strong analytical skills and can interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data.
- You have a passion for the customer journey and user experience
- Experience working with CMS and PIM systems
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- You excel working cross-functionally and thrive in a fast paced and ever-evolving environment
- You are able to find efficiencies and improvements to make existing processes more successful
- Clear examples of past site experience optimization work/focus
- You have deep experience working with product detail pages and product information
How You Will Make An Impact
- Own the cross-functional alignment and process around the “exclusives'' product photogrpahy. This includes process, budget and style guide/standard
- Own the ongoing setup & maintenance of product ratings & reviews (R&R) as well as determine a strategy around increasing R&R for our exclusives assortment
- Partner with key stakeholders on site initiatives, namely product, marketing and merchandising
- Analyze search results and make optimization recommendations to content and product teams
- Work hand-in-hand with Category Specialists on simplifying the item etup process, ensuring all product information is accurate and complete
- Dive deep into product assortment departments, categories and subcategories to determine product data schemas needed to best suit our users’ needs
- Champion product data functionality with our product & engineering to take our site experience to the next level (search, filtering, comparison tooling).

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The estimated pay range for this role is $53,568.00 - $78,100.00
In addition, Babylist offers equity, bonus, and benefits, including company paid health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
