We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Vice President of Human Resources to lead our aviation company's HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. This is a hybrid role in Columbus Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and implement business strategies that support the company's growth and success.
- Manage HR budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Develop and implement employee retention strategies to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring decisions.
- Develop and implement performance management programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that are consistent with the company's values and culture.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in human resources, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the aviation industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
