Katalyst Group is recruiting for an SVP Finance on behalf of a mid-size private equity-backed product and services provider based in Naperville, IL. The organization completed several tuck-in acquisitions in recent years and the SVP Finance will lead multiple key initiatives to complete the integration and standardization of accounting and financial reporting activities.

As the SVP Finance, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead the accounting and financial reporting function for a +$200M organization,
• Prepare the organization for a future transaction (2-3 year anticipated timeline) and gain valuable experience working directly with the private-equity backers.
• Drive efforts to fully integrate the accounting and financial reporting activities of key tuck-in acquisitions (standardization of the chart of accounts, migration into a uniform accounting and consolidations software platform, streamlining the accounting close process),
• Partner with a CFO that is focused on nurturing a culture of collaboration, allowing the accounting and finance function to have a seat at the table to inform and drive critical decision-making for the business,

Experience that will uniquely qualify you for this role:

• Consolidated financial reporting,
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting and financial reporting leadership experience within industry
• Experience leading software implementation/enhancement initiatives, and
• Serve as a change agent while fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and respect across the entire organization
• Demonstrated experience with
• Sales and use tax reporting,
• CPA, prior public-accounting experience highly preferred

The total compensation and rewards package will include a base salary and annual incentive bonus and equity grant. Total annual cash compensation may range from $240K - $275K.
