Our Client is one of the largest global designers & fabricators of removable/reusable insulation systems for a wide variety of industrial applications including: Valves & Pump Covers, OEM Applications, Thermal Blankets for Nuclear Plants and Acoustical Blankets.
Our Client is known for their exceptional customer services, full-service design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities, and high quality, low maintenance products. They have a reputation as an exceptional, consistent, and reliable partner to industrial companies, industrial insulation contractors and OEMs providing a wide range of removable insulation systems for fittings and mechanical equipment.
The Senior Vice President, General Manager is the leader of the company. This role is accountable to oversee the overall operations of the business with a laser focus on the development and deployment of Sales & Marketing strategies to grow top line revenue.
The successful candidate will be able to identify and develop new business opportunities and grow the existing client base as well as continuing to nurture a mature book of existing business. The targeted market segments include OEM’s, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Nuclear, Capital Projects and various other markets that have needs for thermal and acoustical covers.
The Senior Vice President, General Manager will oversee all 95 employees in the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree (experience may substitute).
· A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in related field with a strong commercial background and a track record of driving top-line revenue growth.
· Ability to demonstrate conflict resolution and strong critical thinking skills.
· Ability to interface effectively with various levels of management, customers, and operations.
· Able to deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, public speaking.
· Proficient with business technical writing and modeling presentations.
· Comfortable using IT technology.
· Basic competence understanding income statement and financial metrics.
· Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines.
· Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in interpreting and applying company policies to issues and problems.
· “Hands-on” approach.
· Travel as required to regional offices or jobsites.
