As a member of Global TA organization, this position will be responsible for attracting and hiring top talent for all of the Novartis companies which it supports. This role will be functionally aligned with a focus on building functional depth and talent market knowledge for a particular function / skill. This role will ensure recruitment delivery for the business team it supports while managing customer expectations with a shared vision of impacting the quality of patient lives.
What you will be doing:
Manage and drive appropriate sourcing, assessment, selection and pre-onboarding strategies for the client group supported by the role. This role will be focused on sales/expansions.
Strategy & Planning:
  • Educate the Hiring Manager / interview panels on the recruiting process and help build their interview capabilities on an ongoing basis
  • Develop overall hiring strategy for open assigned headcounts
  • Lead and drive the hiring planning meeting with Hiring Managers
  • Conduct interviews & lead the debrief session
  • Render business consulting by providing effective staffing solutions keeping in mind internal business context as well as external talent / market landscape
Process Management
  • Accountable for the overall recruitment process to ensure recruitment delivery of the open position for client groups. Coordinate with Sourcers & TA Coordinators to ensure zero process lags
  • Provide accurate documentation to facilitate offer and pre boarding processes including pre-employment background verification and pre-employment medicals
  • Ensure best in class candidate experience throughout the hiring process by providing timely feedback / responses to candidates etc.
  • Guide and work with Sourcer to implement the defined sourcing strategy to attract right talent for the roles. Focus on direct sourcing through low cost sourcing channels and reducing agency spend thus resulting in effective cost per hire
Data Management & Reporting
  • Ensure periodic hiring status reporting/ dashboards to business stakeholders, manage & deliver them in a timely and consistent basis
  • Ensure data compliance within Applicant Tracking Tool (Brassring & Workday).
Monitoring & Control
  • Ensure compliant usage of all tools (social media, job boards, ATS, etc.)
  • Ensure process and policy compliance as per Novartis TA guidelines
  • Ensure adherence to relevant geographic labor and employment laws as and when necessary
  • Ensure adoption and adherence to Novartis HR practices and policies
People & Organization (HR)
  • Support Sourcers & TA Coordinators to develop functional and TA operational depth and clearing roadblocks while executing if any
  • Being the Novartis brand ambassador to external market by responsibly dealing with candidates, vendors and external associates while showcasing Novartis Values and Behaviors to the core
  • Effectively collaborate with HRBPs, Hiring managers and other HR COEs ensuring great stake-holder experience

Minimum Requirements
What you will bring to the role:
  • This position is Remote
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Human Resources discipline preferred
Required Experience:
  • Self-directed and detail-oriented with a burning desire to consult with senior-level managers and stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated proficiency in under-standing organizational culture and ability to establish relationships both externally and internally
  • High energy, articulate and customer-service mindset, with the ability to be assertive as and when required
  • 5+ years of experience in full life-cycle recruitment (agency or in-house), preferably within healthcare or pharma
  • Proficient in talent recruitment and talent engagement tools and channels (i.e. social media/LinkedIn, application tracking software, events/conferences, etc.) and understanding and demonstrated capability to source passive candidate through these channels
Desirable experience:
  • Experience working within global matrix organizations
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience in pharma/healthcare

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between: $102,400.00 and $153,600.00 USD per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
