Summary
Subaru of America is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who is passionate about connecting people to great careers!
In this role you will develop and executes hiring plans, including proactively sourcing a talent pipeline for assigned function(s). Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing, to assessing talent, interviewing, and onboarding top talent into the organization. Develops strong relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders across the business to deliver top talent into the organization by cultivating a best-in-class talent experience. Champions the Subaru Brand and promotes careers by participating in various talent acquisition initiatives including campus recruiting, collaboration with community partners, and expanding our outreach to diverse talent throughout the marketplace.
What you'll do
Sourcing
  • Sources candidates utilizing social media, resume databases, industry contacts, professional networks, etc.
  • Engages with active and passive talent and connects them to current job opportunities.
  • Evaluates applicants and submits top candidates for hiring manager review.
  • Prescreens candidates via phone, video, and/or in-person interviews.
  • Markets open positions through the company careers page and extends advertising to job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, and others.
  • Anticipates future talent needs and works to develop pools of passive candidates to fill vacancies.
  • Schedules interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.

Talent Advisory
  • Provides guidance to hiring teams on how to diffuse bias from the selection process.
  • Partners with hiring managers to identify competency questions for interview consistency and quality.
  • Communicates with interview panels to ensure preparedness during the interview process.
  • Works closely with business leaders to influence effective recruiting approaches and set realistic expectations on time to fill, compensation, candidate pool quality, and market feedback.

Employer Branding
  • Collaborates with teams to develop advertisement materials, such as flyers and social media posts.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with external agencies, colleges, vendors, associations, and other bodies who might route talent to the organization or aid in TA processes.
  • Builds awareness and promotes recruiting efforts through social media channels such as Facebook or LinkedIn.
  • Collaborates with Marketing, Human Resources, and business leaders to promote employer brand identity.

Talent Experience
  • Drafts and utilizes templates for TA communications, such as application received messages, interview requests, rejection emails, and offer letters.
  • Collaborates with HR and business leaders to design the company's hiring process, from application to hire.
  • Manages candidate expectations and engages talent throughout the hiring process.
  • Performs research to evaluate the general needs and opinions of talent.

Process Harmonization
  • Tracks and reports on talent acquisition metrics, such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, cost per hire, etc.
  • Provides guidance to hiring teams on how to diffuse bias from the selection process.
  • Oversees the completion of various talent acquisition projects and initiatives.
  • Works closely with business leaders to influence effective recruiting approaches and set realistic expectations on time to fill, compensation, candidate pool quality, and market feedback.
  • Partners with hiring managers to identify competency questions for interview consistency and quality.
The Experience and Skills You'll Need
  • Ability to understand and present data, trends, and metrics.
  • Comfortable navigating a matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of employment law, OFCCP regulations, etc.
  • Experience with behavioral and/or competency-based interviewing and assessments.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of social recruitment.
  • Experience working within automated applicant tracking systems (ATS,) preferably ORC.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority.
  • At least four (4) years relevant recruiting experience.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office products and capable of learning key HRIS / role-specific applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or four (4) or more years of work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Effective relationship management and decision-making skills.
Work Experience: Hybrid Role - Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)
Travel Required: 10% (Internal conferences, career fairs, and hiring events)
Compensation: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $65,800- $94000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
