Senior Supply Chain Manager

Summary:

The Sr. Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain to key retail customers, supporting customer needs, and ensuring efficient merchandise flow. This role requires strong analytical skills, extensive collaboration and communication with various stakeholders, and a deep understanding of retail processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure product compliance with regulations and coordinate harmonization code determinations and duty rates.
• Maintain ERP system for purchasing and product management, ensuring accurate item setup and maintenance.
• Coordinate purchasing functions with vendors, operations, and marketing to meet customer demand based on internal and external forecasts.
• Drive sales and profits through superior inventory management, warehouse replenishment, and demand forecasting.
• Provide analytical support for sales, marketing, and planning, utilizing retail systems like Retail Link, Item 360, NOVA, and GRS.
• Develop close business relationships with key account replenishment and logistics resources, such as Walmart, Amazon, CVS, Walgreens and Target.
• Manage inbound logistics and imports, including ocean freight, forwarders, and broker relationships, and optimize use of LCL and air freight options.
• Manage and develop a team of analysts, ensuring all objectives are fulfilled, recruiting and training new analysts, and monitoring individual and company performance.
• Monitor domestic vendor performance and compliance, and resolve problems related to the replenishment cycle and supply chain.
• Attend regular meetings with Sales, Marketing, and key customer representatives to ensure smooth operations and business growth.
• Resolve problems related to the replenishment cycle and supply chain, acting as a liaison between internal objectives and customer initiatives.
• Analyze customer data, provide insights and recommendations, and manage content delivery of business tracking reports.
• Facilitate order flow throughout the supply chain and monitor customer internet websites for critical changes in business processes and demand.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the retail industry
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Willingness to travel and attend meetings with customers and other stakeholders as needed
• Ability to manage a team and drive performance
• Familiarity with product compliance, harmonization codes, and duty rates
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Retail Link, Item 360, NOVA, GRS, and other retail-related systems
• Solid understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, and replenishment processes
