Job Description

We are working with a leading Defense industry supplier

  • Ensures compliance to government regulations and requirements.
  • Drives supporting functions to complete necessary "requirements generation" tasks to achieve desired programmatic schedules.
  • Provides strategic guidance to the entire organization regarding supply chain.
  • Actively manages inventory levels through the monitoring of supply cycles and period of supply parameters.
  • Responsible for the size, overall make-up, and performance of the supply base.
  • Develops cost objectives and monitors group level as well as individual performance against those cost objectives.
  • Prepares and executes global acquisition plans for all materials and services.
  • Conducts routine supplier performance reviews and develops and communicates clear sourcing strategies.
  • Assures the quality of the contract language used by reports.
  • Reads all customer contracts prior to award to assure that the standard business terms conform. Plans conformance methodology for any unusual customer requirements.
  • Provides leadership to supply chain personnel.
