Job Description

Our client is currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager. They are a fastener manufacturer passionate about providing high quality custom products and exceptional service to their customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact across inspection, quality control personnel, internal sales, engineering and our vendors.
  • Analyze sales and product order history.
  • Support the execution of procurement functionality within our NetSuite ERP and acting as the supply chain.
  • Oversee the initiation of purchase orders for material and outside services.
  • Execute and improve reports & KPIs.
  • Establish objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Source and vet new vendors domestically and internationally.


Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with sourcing, vendor qualification and vendor management
  • Experience working with an ERP/Purchase Order System (NetSuite preferred)
  • Ability to gather and analyze data
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
  • 5+ years experience of progressive purchasing/strategic sourcing (steel, fasteners, fastener blanks, plating, heat treating preferred)
