Who You Are:


Figure8 is looking for a Supply Chain & Inventory Manager to support all activities related to select and purchase lines of products, manage inventory and finished goods and assist in all phases of our product roadmap. Our ideal candidate is a team player, organized, logical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a new role on our team, and you will thrive if you are well acquainted with setting up and scaling processes, detail oriented, proven experience in the field and are self motivated.


Your Day-to-Day:


  • Develops strategies to mitigate impact of volume surges & capacity constraints.
  • Drives warehouse productivity & process improvements to achieve cost savings.
  • Develops standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management accuracy.
  • Develops and implements key performance metrics.
  • Identification, implementation, and company wide training of an Inventory Management System.
  • Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choices, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices in partnership with manager.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of products and compliance with the contracts of purchase.
  • Work with the leadership team to determine the best logistics and 3PL vendors
  • Responsible for monthly physical inventory and regular inventory cycle counts.
  • Drives warehouse productivity & process improvements to achieve cost savings, this can also include occasional oversight of warehouse operations in Ohio.
  • Identifies the root cause of inventory discrepancies and creates and implements corrective action plans that may include systems, people and/or processes. This will include recommendations on a 3PL, inventory management system and a full roll out across 2023 for all locations.
  • Implements quality audits that uncover root cause issues that are not being addressed by the team.
  • Analyzes inventory variances and exception reports to monitor inventory data and procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of inventory.
  • Works cross-functionally to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory and product capabilities, including recap reports.
  • Ensures integrity and compliance with all policies, control, procedures and standards including training and development programs.
  • Develops and implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting.
  • Oversee replenishment by SKU, maintaining an efficient inventory flow with set inventory turns and service level KPI’s.
  • Will be measured on Key Performance Indicators that include, but are not limited to, inventory to sales ratio (ISR), gross margin return on investment (GMROI), supply chain to sales cost percentage, PO tracking, day sales of inventory (DSI) and passing end of year inventory audit with Finance Team, as well as overall individual performance and contribution to Company culture.


The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $150,000 USD and is dependent on location and experience.


Requirements


The Necessities and Nice-to-Haves:Willingness to travel:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent years of experience
  • Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP MM)
  • Weekend availability
  • Experience with CRM tools like NetSuite, HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Holidays
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
  • 5+ years of relevant supply chain, logistics, buyer and/or warehouse management experience
  • US citizen or have authorization to work in the US for 5 or more years
  • A proven track record of driving efficiencies and cost savings
  • Developed or been a part of new E-Commerce Strategy
