Purpose: This role is within the Operations Supply Chain organization and will lead the S&OP process & continuous improvement initiatives. The role will span cross functionally within Operations as well as across the organization with U.S. Commercial Pharma. The role will execute the current S&OP as well as document, implement, and mature the process. The role will help foster a culture of continuous improvement and sustainable change to achieve the business objectives.
Candidate should have subject matter expertise in S&OP, Business Process Mapping, and Project & Program Management, as well as proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and tactical direction for S&OP interactions with Demand Planning, SC Brand Management, and specified Commercial Area Finance leadership and affiliates.
- Partner, negotiate and influence key stakeholders to drive alignment and support S&OP implementation across Commercial and Operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as IME, ECM/OCM, and PSM to document end-to-end S&OP process and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Subject matter expert in Commercial and Supply Chain Operations to provide support, guidance, education, and training for key stakeholders/users.
- Responsible for execution of S&OP process and cross functional interdependencies
- Work with cross functional stakeholders to discuss business objectives, and build a continuous improvement roadmap to adapt the process to align to the business objectives
- Establish best practices and standard templates based on the segmented portfolio
- Establish broad knowledge and relationships across the organization
- Collaborate with S&OP technology team on system improvements to drive simplification and efficiency through automation
- Partner with cross functional team to develop training/support materials and execute training sessions as needed
- Attend Commercial Area S&OP and share insights back to Operations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science or Engineering; or related degree
- 4-8 years Pharmaceutical or Operations Experience preferred.
- Proven experience in managing effective teams and fostering collaboration across organizational boundaries.
- Effective leader with executive presence and proven presentation and communication (oral & written) skills.
- Experienced with formal Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
- System experience across JDA (or other Demand Planning software), SAP (or other ERP systems), and QlikSense (or other reporting tools) preferred
- Proven ability to communicate and deliver results, actions, decisions, and concerns with little direction or supervision in a timely manner
- Demonstrated success as a collaborative team player
- Broad, diverse, cross-functional or cross-divisional experience
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills are required
