Job Title: Senior SharePoint Consultant & Administrator || Only W2/1099

Location: Santa Clara, CA – Hybrid mandatory

Job description:

• Looking for a Senior SharePoint Consultant & Administrator to be a part of the SharePoint Migration team and provide recommendations, analysis on migrating content and providing solutions for Power Platform applications.

Required Skills:

• Ability to develop and implement custom SharePoint features and functionalities, such as web parts, workflows, and forms, using technologies like JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and PowerShell.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SharePoint platforms including SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and SharePoint Online/M365, and related Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Strong experience with migration projects, including planning, execution, troubleshooting, and managing the transition from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online/M365.
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL and ITSM frameworks, particularly in the context of SharePoint service management.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing SharePoint administration tasks such as creating sites, managing permissions, configuring services, monitoring server health and performance, and troubleshooting issues.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex SharePoint issues.
• Proficiency in working with SQL Server databases and integrating SharePoint with other enterprise systems and databases.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing detailed technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders, including non-technical staff, and translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions for large-scale, complex enterprises.
• Solid understanding and application of SharePoint best practices, governance policies, and security protocols.

Experience

• Understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the SharePoint developed solution.
• Planning the deployment and configuration of Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
• Stabilizing developed solutions using Microsoft methodologies in complex customer environments.
• The delivery of high quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas, technologies and products in diverse client environments.
• The design and development of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products and technologies.
• Integration of SharePoint with other Microsoft and related platforms, technologies, and services.
• SharePoint server farm, database, and site collection configuration, design, deployment, and administration.
• Microsoft Office integration with SharePoint.
• Out-of-the-box configuration and deployment of SharePoint custom lists, document types and folders, workflow, InfoPath Forms, views, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, debugging, and troubleshooting: SharePoint, web and index servers, & SQL database servers.
• Defines and approves application standards and specifications; provides oversight for definition of product content to ensure that appropriate parties are kept informed of client and company requirements and policies.
• Manage projects through the entire project lifecycle that includes managing multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Experience migrating SQL data in a virtual environment.
• Translate business requirements into technology requirements for inclusion in contracts and/or statements of work (SOW).
• Analyze, design, and deliver SharePoint 2010 infrastructure projects.
• Provides analysis and design reviews to other department members to avoid duplication of effort in solving the same application problems with different products.
• Experience migrating local and shared file folders in SharePoint 2010 Environment as well as *.pst files
• Develops and designs complex multi-tier web applications; determines project requirements and functional specifications to ensure that client specifications are met.
• Evaluates new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities into company products.
• Coordinates with application developers, managers, and customer application experts to ensure that required features and modifications are included in the appropriates releases to support cross-product features and to communicate architectural designs and standards.
• Architect a solution by mapping a customer business problem to an end-to-end technology solution.
• Designs application modules that work together to produce desired product. Ensures that completed modules provide functionality described by application experts and to ensure that performance guidelines are met.
• Reviews and conducts technical research, testing, evaluation and documentation of complex hosting/configuration tools and methodologies to ensure that tools are current and functional.
• Creating branding for sites and sub-sites
